Overview

We are looking for a hands-on AI Automation Developer to help identify, design, and build practical AI-driven solutions that improve business processes and project delivery. This is not a strategy or advisory role. We need someone who can take an idea or use case and quickly turn it into a working solution.

The successful candidate will work closely with both technical and functional SAP teams to develop AI-powered automations, agents, workflows, and integrations, particularly within SAP implementation and transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, and assess AI automation use cases across business and SAP-related processes.
• Build and deploy AI agents, workflows, automations, and custom solutions using appropriate AI and development technologies.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, project teams, and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
• Develop proof of concepts and rapidly prototype AI solutions.
• Integrate AI tools with existing platforms such as SAP, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI, Teams, and other enterprise applications.
• Translate business requirements into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
• Support deployment, testing, adoption, and continuous improvement of AI-driven processes.

Example Projects

• Building an AI agent that automatically extracts data from an Excel dashboard stored in SharePoint and distributes a daily report to stakeholders.
• Creating AI-powered assistants to support SAP project delivery, documentation, testing, or change management activities.
• Automating repetitive project management and PMO activities within SAP implementation programmes.
• Developing AI-driven workflows that reduce manual effort and improve data quality across SAP processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience developing AI solutions, automations, agents, or intelligent workflows.
• Experience with AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services, OpenAI technologies, Power Platform, Python, API integrations, or similar platforms.
• Strong software development and problem-solving skills.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and data sources.
• Ability to move quickly from concept to execution and deliver working solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in SAP environments.
• SAP implementation, transformation, or support project experience.
• Project Management or PMO background.
• Understanding of SAP business processes and enterprise transformation programmes.
• Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, or large-scale global organisations.
