Job Description
After School Club Supervisor Park Mead Primary School, Hailsham, East Sussex BN27

Hours: 3pm-6pm Monday to Friday during school term-time (Additional hours are available at breakfast clubs and during school holidays)

Pay: Up to £14.21 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

Note: Due to the remote location of this school, the ability to drive will be essential as public transport routes are not the quickest or most reliable

We are recruiting for a leading provider of out of school hours and wraparound childcare for primary school children in East Sussex. This company continues to grow in size every year and are looking for someone who has either permanent, regular, or even ad hoc availability to join their team of wraparound childcare workers.

Requirements
  • Experience Leading a Team - understanding that you need to be fair, genuine and heartfelt, and respect everyone's differences and uniqueness, whilst also ensuring safety and professionalism
  • A Passion for Working with Children - we're looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests
  • Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills - you will be assisting with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime and structured play
  • Responsibility and Reliability - the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care will be your responsibility and all team members are required to follow specific policies and procedures, including completing registers, accident and incident forms and health & safety checks as needed, and the children and families also benefit from consistently reliable staff
  • Communication and Engagement - all Childcare Play Workers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children and schools on a daily basis. You will be a representative of the organisation's brand so it's key to always be a pleasure to be around!
