Position Summary

Euravia Engineering & Supply Co Ltd, a part of Magellan Aerospace Kelbrook, Lancashire has an exciting opportunity for NDT Technician (Internal Only).

  • Full-time-permanent position
  • Weekdays are Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week.
  • Job location: Colne Road, Kelbrook, Lancashire BB18 6SN

Inspection of aircraft components utilising Non-Destructive Testing methods in line with approved standards, Euravia written procedure and OEM manuals.

Essential Responsibilities
  • To be competent in all aspects of FPI
  • To be competent in all aspects of MPI
  • To be competent in all aspects of anti-friction bearing inspection
  • Completion of daily, weekly and monthly control checks
  • Control/requisition of consumable stocks
  • Ensure processes are compliant with regulatory standards
  • Ensure all equipment is calibrated to correct standards
  • Keep abreast of new emerging technologies and be pivotal in the implementation of the future business strategy for test cell environment
  • Ensure compliance with Euravia's Quality Systems
  • Maintain the highest 6S standard
  • Ensure compliance with H & S requirements and liaise with H&S manager as necessary
  • Completion of any other reasonable tasks as designated by your Line Manager
Position Requirements Essential Criteria
  • Good level of education
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in an aerospace environment
  • EN4179 or PCN Level 2 Qualification in FPI & MPI
