Portland Medical Practice is a dual site practice and due to the ongoing progression of our practice we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive practice team.
We are a multidisciplinary practice with over 10,500 patients across two sites based in Kilmarnock and Hurlford. We currently have 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners alongside a highly trained nursing team supported by an excellent management, administration and secretarial team.
The ideal candidate must be experienced, enthusiastic and dedicated. Main duties will include:
- Managing daily demand for minor illness
- Clinical decision making
- Working independently in assessment and prescribing
- Undertaking home visits
Operating a supported triage model of care, our clinical practice team includes GP's, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Pharmacists, Practice Nurses, Physiotherapist, Mental Health Practitioner and Community Connector.
Sessions and working days are negotiable.
