This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join a supportive, forward-thinking GP practice in the Ashfield area of Nottingham. The practice is expanding its urgent care provision and is seeking an ANP to cover an additional clinical day each week.
You'll be joining a welcoming, close-knit team with a genuine "family feel" culture. Staff describe the environment as one where everyone supports one another, and training and development are always encouraged. The practice delivers consistently strong clinical outcomes, with a Good CQC rating and strong QOF performance.
This is an excellent role for an ANP who enjoys a mix of acute, on-the-day care and long-term condition management, particularly respiratory conditions such as COPD and asthma.
Salary - Up to £60,000 FTE (DOE) + NHS Pension + 5 weeks AL (pro rata) + Study Leave
Location - Ashfield, Nottingham
The Surgery -
- Well-established, single-site GP practice
- CQC Rated: GOOD
- Strong QOF results (586/635)
- Free on-site parking

- Multi-disciplinary team includes:
- 4 GPs
- 1 ANP
- 2 Practice Nurses
- 2 part-time Clinical Pharmacists
- Community Midwife
- Mental Health Practitioner
- SystmOne clinical system
Your Role -
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
- Fridays only, 9:00am - 5:00pm (7.5 hours)
- All appointments triaged beforehand; strong continuity of care with patients seeing the same clinician
- Mix of acute on-the-day cases, chronic disease management & respiratory focus (COPD, asthma)
- Home visits: Possible ward round in care homes if the other ANP is on leave
- Own consulting room (shared on rotation)
- Funded training and development
- Personality: Flexible, supportive, and comfortable managing varied workload
