Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD)

Applications are invited from a suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated individual to take up this exciting post of IBD Clinical Nurse Specialist as part of the NHS Highland Gastroenterology Service.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside the Advanced IBD Nurses to provide specialised advice concerning the care and treatment of IBD Patients within NHS Highland. In conjunction with the Advanced IBD Nurse Specialists you will support and assist our Consultant Gastroenterologists in the provision of timely specialist care to NHS Highland patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease. The successful applicant will also provide Nurse Led Clinics.
You must be a first level registered nurse with expert knowledge of IBD and/or demonstrable clinical experience appropriate to this role, and either a non medical prescriber or willing to work towards this qualification, with an ability to work autonomously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this post.
