Job Description

Prescribing ANP / Paramedic Practitioner

Up To £28.00 per hour Depending on Experience

We are looking for ANPs / Paramedic Practitioners who:

Care

  • Recent experience in a Primary Care setting
  • Non-medical prescriber
  • MSc Advanced practice or equivalent
  • NMC / HCPC registered
  • UK based (necessity)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for healthcare
  • Motivated and committed to developing the knowledge and skills required for the role and for ongoing professional development
  • Key Responsibilities
    • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate management plans.
    • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic presentations
    • Provide expert care for frail and elderly patients, including care home visits.
    • Prescribe independently (V300 qualification essential).
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and investigations.
    • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals.
    • Contribute to service development, audits, and clinical governance activities.
    • Support colleagues and learners through mentorship and professional guidance.
  • Desirable for the post
    • Experience in long-term condition (LTC) management (e.g. COPD, diabetes, heart failure).
    • Leadership or teaching experience
  • Essential Requirements
    • Registered Nurse/paramedic
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Proven experience in the assessment and management of frail adults and/or care home patients.
