Adult's Deputy Team Manager- LD & Autism Team

Our Client, a Greater Manchester Council, is seeking an Adult's Deputy Team Manager to join their LD & Autism Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Provide regular, reflective supervision to Social Workers and Case Assessors
• Participate in the duty manager rota, supporting staff with timely and confident decision-making
• Oversee and manage the team's shared inbox, ensuring efficient workflow
• Authorise assessments, reviews, and other key documentation
• Act as a safeguarding lead, offering guidance, delegating enquiries and ensuring best practice is upheld

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's post qualifying experience.
