Job Description
Our client, a Greater Manchester Council is seeking an Adults Advanced Practitioner to join their MASH Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
- Provide advanced social work expertise within the Adult MASH service, supporting complex safeguarding cases and high-risk situations.
- Lead on the screening, triage and decision-making of safeguarding concerns and referrals.
- Undertake complex assessments, safeguarding enquiries and risk assessments for adults at risk.
- Offer guidance, support and informal supervision to Social Workers and less experienced team members.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, including Police, Health, Housing and Legal Services.
- Apply expert knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Human Rights Act and safeguarding legislation.
- Chair and contribute to strategy discussions, safeguarding meetings and multi-agency forums where appropriate.
- Provide professional challenge and support effective risk management and safeguarding planning.
- Promote and embed strengths-based, person-centred practice across the service.
- Monitor and support the quality of practice, ensuring compliance with statutory duties, policies and procedures.
- Assist Team Managers with mentoring, performance development and practice improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate, timely and high-quality case records and reports.
- Support service development, quality assurance activities and continuous improvement within the Adult MASH.
- Drive positive outcomes, independence and wellbeing for vulnerable adults through effective safeguarding interventions.
Requirements of this role:
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
