Admissions Manager - Independent Primary School
Islington, London
Full-Time long-term contract 32 Hours per Week (All Year Round)
£35,000 per annum (£130-£135 p/day PAYE)
Start: ASAP / Flexible for the right candidate
A warm and nurturing independent primary school in the London Borough of Islington is seeking an experienced and personable Admissions Manager to join their team on a full-time basis until August 2026.
This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of the school community. As the first point of contact for prospective families, you will be responsible for managing and delivering a professional, personalised, and welcoming admissions journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the full admissions process, including enquiries, visits, applications, and registrations
Act as the face of the school for prospective families, providing a tailored and warm introduction
Plan and lead tours, open mornings, and school events in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
Maintain accurate admissions records and manage data effectively
Build strong relationships with local nurseries and feeder schools
Work strategically to meet enrolment targets and enhance the school's visibility and reputation
Ideal Candidate:Previous experience in admissions (ideally within an independent school setting) or a customer-facing/sales environment
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
Highly organised with strong administrative capabilities
Proficient in IT systems, databases, and data handling
Confident, approachable, and proactive with excellent attention to detail
