Administrator (Full-Time Temporary) - Chorley
Our Client, a reputable organisation within the justice sector, is hiring for a dedicated Administrator to join their team in Chorley on a temporary basis until 25/09/2026. This role offers hybrid working with approximately 40% office attendance, supporting the Community Accommodation Service under the Wales and CAS Area Executive Director.
Responsibilities- Providing routine administrative support following established procedures.
- Managing the Director's diary, ensuring appointments are up-to-date and prepared for meetings.
- Anticipating and resolving scheduling conflicts or issues at short notice.
- Maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, internal teams, and private offices.
- Updating databases such as leave sheets and staff movement records.
- Arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing notes.
- Offering flexible support to Directors, Heads of Group, and Business Managers as needed.
- Collating data, responding to stakeholder requests, and supporting various administrative functions.
- Upholding high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint (or equivalent).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Pay rate: £13.71 per hour.
- Working hours: 37 per week, Monday to Friday.
- Must undergo HMPPS vetting (approx. 4-6 weeks).
- All candidates will be subject to security and identity checks.
- External candidates will be on a 6-month probation period.
