About this jobAre you an organised Administrator looking for a varied role where you can really make a difference? Our client is a well established organisation within the health and social care sector and is looking for an Administrator to join their busy Housing Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Administrator to work in a friendly, collaborative office where you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of housing and property services. Initially offered on a temporary basis, there is the potential for the role to be extended or become permanent for the right person.
What will you be doing as an Administrator?- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Housing Services team
- Logging repairs, maintenance requests and purchases onto the internal database
- Updating records, maintaining accurate data and producing reports
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and internal colleagues to arrange maintenance work
- Tracking repair requests through to completion and ensuring systems are kept up to date
- Maintaining contractor documentation, including insurance records
- Assisting with vehicle bookings and transport administration
- Completing routine audits and maintaining accurate records
- Acting as the first point of contact for telephone enquiries and directing calls appropriately
- Providing administrative support to other operational teams when required
- Carrying out a variety of general administrative duties within a fast paced office environment
- Previous administration experience in a busy office environment
- Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- The ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines
- A proactive, organised approach to work
- Confidence learning new IT systems (full training will be provided)
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
- Experience within housing, property, maintenance, facilities or the health and social care sector would be an advantage but isn't essential
- £12.76 per hour
- Weekly pay
- Monday to Friday working hours
