School Administrator

Full Time Term Time + Inset Days Start September

Location: London

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and professional School Administrator to join a school from September. This is a full-time position supporting all aspects of school administration and operations within a busy and rewarding educational environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the school, providing high quality administrative support to staff, students, parents, and external agencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the school's reception area and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Handling telephone, email, and face to face enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and databases.
  • Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting.
  • Assisting with admissions, enrolment, and transition processes.
  • Preparing correspondence, reports, letters, and school communications.
  • Coordinating meetings, appointments, and school events.
  • Supporting safeguarding and compliance administration.
  • Managing filing systems and ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and wider staff.
  • Assisting with HR, recruitment, and staff onboarding processes.
  • Undertaking general office duties to support the effective operation of the school.
About You
  • Have previous administrative experience, ideally within an educational setting.
  • Possess excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be able to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Be committed to supporting a positive and inclusive school environment.
