Are you an organised, detail-focused person, experienced in business administration? We're offering an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Performance team on a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy office environment and can hit the ground running. You'll play a key part in helping us deliver accurate monthly reports to our clients, supporting meetings, and keeping our systems and trackers up to date.

What You'll Be Doing Day-to-Day
  • Organising meetings & writing meeting notes
  • Collecting vital data and statistics from all areas of the business
  • Updating monthly reports using PowerPoint and Excel
  • Transferring information from internal systems into reporting files
  • Assisting the team to keep within agreed timeframes
  • Double-checking information to spot errors and flag them for correction
  • Adhoc digital filing and organising documentation
  • Keeping trackers up to date with good news, feedback, and actions
Person Specification

Essential

  • Great communicator, confident on the phones and able to speak to stakeholders from all parts of the business
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and willing to learn new systems
  • Careful and accurate, with strong attention to detail
  • Clear written communication skills for summarising information
  • Organised and reliable, with a professional approach
  • Trustworthy with sensitive information
  • Experience in previous administration roles

Desirable

  • Familiarity with creating meeting minutes/actions
  • Interest in highways, operations, performance reporting, H&S, sustainability, or commercial reporting
  • Experience using databases or pulling reports (training provided)
  • Access to own transport to get to and from the office (public transport can be lengthy)
