Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and tech-savvy Senior Administrator to join our team in Durham. This role is pivotal in supporting our frontline social care services-including Fostering, Adoption, and Residential Care-by ensuring that case management and data integrity are maintained at the highest standards.

This is a Remote/Hybrid position. Under our current policy, you will typically work remotely allowing for a flexible work-life balance while staying connected to your team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management Oversight: Act as the lead administrator for the CHARMS case management system, ensuring all records for children and carers are accurate and up to date.
  • Data & Compliance: Manage complex data entry, conduct audits, and generate regulatory reports for Ofsted or management review.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and first-line management to a small team of administrative assistants to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Multidisciplinary Liaison: Coordinate with social workers, foster carers, and external agencies to streamline communication and support planning.
Essential Requirements
  • CHARMS Software Experience: You MUST have proven experience using the CHARMS case management system. Candidates without this specific software experience will not be considered for this priority role.
  • Senior Admin Background: Extensive experience in a senior administrative or coordinator role, preferably within a local authority or social care setting.
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and secure database management.
