Job Title: Administrator
Base Location: Slinfold, West Sussex
Salary: Circa 25,000/annum depending on skills and experience and working hours
Working Pattern: Temporary, Full Time; Monday - Thursday 7.30am-4pm, Friday7.30am - 3pm. Overtime there for those who want it.
Please note: This is a temporary position for 6 months (Mat Cover). If successful, you will initially be onboarded through our preferred recruitment agency.

What will I be doing in this role?You will be providing essential administrative work and service support to our operational team, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, from managing data and raising orders to support colleagues and helping members of the public; no two days will be the same. This is a fixed term contract for 6 months to cover a colleague who is on maternity leave.
In a typical day, you could expect to be;
- Deliver excellent internal and external customer service, including handling public enquiries about street lighting.
- Input and maintain accurate data across various systems.
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices.
- Input timesheets for operatives.
- Create job pack works for street lighting projects.
- Previous experience in an administrative role.
- Confident using Microsoft Office especially Excel and comfortable learning new systems.
- Strong organisational skills - able to prioritise tasks and support operational colleagues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience working in a utilities, construction, or highways environment.
- Knowledge of purchase order or finance systems.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for process improvement.
