An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Community Brain Injury Team as a Band 3 Administrator.
The Community Brain Injury Team (CBIT) is a non-mental health service seeking to address the physical, emotional and social consequences of adults affected by brain injury.
This is key role within the service, providing a flexible and comprehensive admin provision to enable us to deliver the best possible service user experience we can.
You will join an established team of clinical staff in a friendly and welcoming environment.
This role is based at the office in Disablement Services Centre and is for 3 days per week.
Main duties of the job- The post holder will be the go to person for queries relating to the Community Brain Injury Team.
- The job holder will manage practical issues in Medway, taking responsibility for the correct safekeeping of keys and CBIT equipment.
- The post holder will be expected to organise work for self and have front-line contact with service users, carers and the general public or other external stakeholders, as well as internal colleagues.
- Telephoning service users and carers, typing and preparation of correspondence, customer service, organisation e.g. maintenance of effective and efficient working systems.

Person Specification Training, Qualifications- GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
- o Educated to NVQ level 3 / RSA3 or equivalent
- Previous paid employment or administrative/office work for minimum of 3 years
- o Experience using RIO o Experience of working in a health care environment
- o Minimum basic Excel setting up of spreadsheets and updating o Preparation of documents to high quality using Word o Use of Outlook for updating of calendar and appointments o Prioritisation and organisation of work and ability to meet deadlines o Good keyboard skills o Ability to interact with colleagues and clients courteously o Problem solving o Numeracy o Accuracy and attention to detail
- o Intermediate level Excel application of basic formulas
