Administrative Support Assistant

Salary: Grade 4 - £25,989 - £26,403 per annum - pro rata; Actual starting salary £5912 per annum.
Contract type: 10 hours per week / Term Time
Contract term: Temporary - until December 31st 2026

We are seeking to appoint a highly organized and detail-oriented Administration Assistant to join our dedicated support staff team.
The position is part-time, term time only. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher's PA, playing a key role in ensuring accurate record-keeping and supporting student outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:- Ensuring that student records are accurately and appropriately filed and disseminated
- Liaising effectively with staff across the school
- Assisting with wider administrative tasks
- Maintaining accurate and well-organised records
- Has excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work
- Is proactive, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Communicates confidently and professionally with colleagues
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Is committed to supporting the smooth running of the school
This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality administrative support.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative skills, IT skills and be highly efficient and organised. They will be able to deal sensitively with a variety of situations with external organisations, staff, students and parents. A calm, flexible approach and highly accurate written communication are essential.
