The Role

Our Saffron Family Hub plays an essential role in giving children and families the early support they need. We are open to your whole community on a regular basis. We work in partnership with other agencies such as health visitors, midwives, speech and language, and local schools.

We help get children under 5 ready for school, and our services include child and family health; parenting programmes and antenatal support; and 'stay and play' sessions. Additionally, we support children and young people from 0 to 19 years old.

We work in partnership with many community services to support families, parents, children, and young people. You will be based at the Saffron Family Hub and have flexibility to travel to other hubs within the South Wrestershire area.

  • Deliver a smooth running service.
  • Maintain accurate record keeping.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming disposition and communicate with colleagues, parents, and professionals.
  • Work as part of a Business Support team, supporting the Service Coordinator and other staff members.

Patience, a sense of humour, and a positive outlook are required for this busy environment. The role is demanding but rewards are great with support through self development and well being programmes, and the service delivers positive outcomes to children, young people, and families.

Qualifications
  • Business Administration S/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Email/Internet.
  • Experience providing a confidential, professional service.
