We are Dutch recruitment agency based in Hilversum and we are preferred suppliers to big Banking organisations here in the Netherlands.
For one of our top Banking client based in Utrecht we are looking for an Administrative Assistant with experience in Banking sector.
36 hours
2 year project
Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
The project and the responsibilities:
You are responsible for opening and processing letter of credits (l/c), bank guarantees, payments, documentary inkasso and advising on this. You also process all matters around it such as changes, reducing amounts in the l/cs and guarantees, etc. The warranties and l/cs contain many economic legal terms and are mainly in English. In addition, in this position you have direct contact with customers and foreign banks. Clients of Trade & Commodity Finance (TCF) are traders who trade in agricultural products, energy and metals.
Skillset needed:
- You have completed a college education,
- You have work experience in a hectic, customer-oriented, international work environment or in a similar position in banking;
- You preferably have some substantive knowledge of the products of documentary inkassi, bank guarantees, accreditations;
- You preferably have (basic) knowledge of international regulations, guidelines and legislation relating to trade products;
- You are able to quickly master new activities
- You are analytical and you have an affinity with systems (IT systems, FlexCUBE);
