The Greater Manchester Mental Health Talking Therapies Division provides psychological treatment for anxiety, depression and specialist Post Covid Syndrome and Employment Support across Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Trafford, and Wigan.

As the Admin Manager for Manchester Talking Therapies, you'll play a crucial role in the smooth day to day operation of the administrative team, managing waiting lists and the appointment booking processes to meet targets. Your expertise will support the administrative team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional administrative support.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will support the efficient delivery of administrative services in Wigan Talking Therapies by actively monitoring waiting lists, overseeing the appointment booking process and escalating any concerns to the senior manager. Handling challenging calls or requests on behalf of the administrative team, escalation to senior managers when appropriate.

The postholder will support the management of administrative staff by completing regular supervisions and appraisals, facilitate development and ensure completion of mandatory training. There is also a requirement to support with the recruitment and retention of administrative staff.

The postholder will assist in the review, development and implementation of effective administrative processes and systems.
