Job DetailsSalary: Grade 3 NJC £12.85 - £13.05 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, term time only
Working Pattern: 30 hours a week, hours to be agreed to cover the core of the office day (we will consider less hours for the right applicant)
Location: Sheddingdean CP School
Interviews: 19th or 20th August 2026
What You Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role you will need to:
- Provide a professional and welcoming first point of contact for parents, visitors, and pupils
- Manage telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently
- Carry out a range of administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Support attendance monitoring and pupil records in line with school procedures
- Assist with admissions, transitions, and general school communications
- Work closely with teaching and support staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Prioritise tasks effectively while working under pressure in a busy environment
- Maintain confidentiality and follow safeguarding policies at all times
- Administer First Aid and keeping records inline with school policies.
