We are currently recruiting for an Ad Hoc Field Support Engineer to provide onsite hands-and-feet support for a customer based in Kildare, Ireland.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 10 Days (Ad Hoc)
Day Rate: Competitive
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Location: Kildare, Ireland (Onsite)
The Role:
We're looking for an engineer who can be called upon as required to provide onsite support when physical IT intervention is needed.
Typical activities will include:
- Laptop hardware replacements and repairs.
- Hardware break/fix activities.
- Switch replacement and rack-based hardware swaps.
- General onsite hands-and-feet support.
- Supporting the remote IT team by carrying out physical changes on-site.
Key Skills Required:
- Desktop Support experience.
- Hardware break/fix support.
- Laptop and PC hardware troubleshooting.
- Network switch replacement experience.
- Strong onsite support and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently when attending site.
Soft Skills:
- Strong ownership mentality.
- Delivery and outcome focused.
- Proactive approach to removing blockers.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
