Accounts Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Supervisor / Team Leader to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.

This is a hands on, all round role combining Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and elements of European payroll. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing day to day financial operations while leading and supporting a small team. The role is best suited for someone who is confident working independently, thrives in a collaborative setting, and is comfortable using data, Excel, and emerging tools such as AI to improve processes and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or team leader role, with responsibility for managing and developing a team
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Solid experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Excellent Excel skills (data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation)
• Strong numerical and analytical ability, with attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with the ability to support and guide team members effectively
• Experience in payroll (Ireland and/or UK) is advantageous but not essential
• Proactive, adaptable, and solution focused mindset
