Accounts Senior

Overview

Accounts Senior opportunity with a leading independent firm of chartered accountants in Cheltenham. The firm is modern and established, with a diverse and interesting client base. The role is to undertake a varied general practice position as an adviser to a range of businesses, with responsibilities across client management and technical accounting work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review statutory and management accounts.
• Compute and prepare corporation tax computations and returns.
• Provide advisory support on corporation tax and VAT to clients.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with clients effectively.
• Supervise and assist in the development of junior team members.

Qualifications

• ACCA / ACA Qualified or at final stages of studies.
• Experience of working in a varied general practice role is essential.
• Up-to-date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards.
• Strong accounting software experience.
