Semi-Senior Accountant Hybrid Flexible Working Study Support

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join its expanding accounts team. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience, work with a varied client portfolio and continue your professional studies within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The Role
You'll work closely with senior members of the accounts team, supporting a diverse range of clients while developing your technical skills and building long-term client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing year-end accounts and management accounts
- Calculating corporation tax and personal tax liabilities
- Supporting clients with tax planning and business advice
- Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a trusted point of contact
- Providing Xero support and training to clients
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Working collaboratively across the wider business to deliver an excellent client service
About You
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience with cloud accounting software (knowledge of CCH is advantageous)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Keen to learn, develop and progress within a growing firm
