Job Description
An Accounts Manager is required for a medium-sized accountancy firm in London. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

- Planning, prioritisation, and allocation of client work ensuring effective team workflow.
- Establishment of scope and budget for each piece of client accounts work under own control.
- Ensure adequate briefing to team members.
- Preparation or delegation of key client accounts work in line with agreed budget.
- Maximise efficiencies with the team and service line.
- Ownership of a client portfolio and contacts for ongoing management and development.
- Supervision and training of junior staff.
- Experience with preparing and reviewing FRS 102 Section 1A accounts.
- Supporting business development activities.
- Experience of reviewing management accounts and supporting clients with their accounting needs.
- Experience of preparing and/or reviewing IFRS/FRS101 financial statements preferable.
- Software experience - Xero, Silverfin, Caseware preferable.
