Are you an experienced Finance Assistant looking for an opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business?

We're recruiting for a Finance & Accounts Assistant to join an established business within the entertainment sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a friendly and sociable team with a positive working culture, whilst supporting a busy finance function in a growing organisation.

Working within a modern finance environment, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of responsibilities, using Xero and supporting key financial processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing daily banking transactions and bank reconciliations
• Raising sales invoices and maintaining accurate records
• Processing purchase invoices
• Assisting with internal budget tracking and reporting
• Supporting the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Assisting with month-end finance processes
• Maintaining accurate financial records and resolving finance queries

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:

• Finance Assistant
• Accounts Assistant
• Bookkeeping
• Sales Ledger
• Purchase Ledger

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts-based role
• Experience using Xero or a similar accounting system
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good Excel and general IT skills
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
• A genuine interest in the entertainment, media or creative sectors would be advantageous
