Accounting and Financial Reporting Supervisor

We are searching for an experienced Accounting and Financial Reporting Supervisor to join RSM's Outsourcing team within the Accounting and Financial Reporting department. You will manage a client portfolio, prepare management accounts and VAT returns, supervise assistants on bank reconciliations and ledger activities, resolve accounting issues, and deliver exemplary client service.

Responsibilities
  • Take responsibility for a client portfolio.
  • Prepare timely and accurate management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Supervise assistants on bank reconciliation and sales/purchase ledger activities, ensuring correct posting to the General Ledger and AP/AR subledgers and timely execution of vendor payments.
  • Work with clients to resolve issues within finance functions or accounting records and systems, meeting all required deadlines.
  • Manage client relationships, build trust, monitor quality standards and deliver excellent client service and stakeholder management.
Qualifications
  • Part or fully qualified ACCA/ACA or minimum 5 years QBE; fully qualified candidates considered for Assistant Manager level.
  • Proficient in IT, including MS Excel, Outlook, Teams, and accounting packages; ability to learn new systems.
  • Demonstrate potential business opportunities to the Outsourcing Manager and self learn RSM markets and core-client base.
  • Collaborative, supportive of junior team members and foster professional development.
  • Continuously review internal team processes, proactively suggest improvements and encourage better teamwork.
