Accountant GL & Process Specialist (SAP Essential)
West London | Hybrid/Flexible
A well-established international organisation is seeking a GL Accountant & Process Specialist to join its Finance team. This role is ideal for a technically strong accountant with deep SAP ERP expertise and a passion for process improvement and digitalisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain accurate General Ledger records with full audit trail
- Lead balance sheet reconciliations (AR, AP, Stock, Fixed Assets)
- Deliver month-end close, intercompany reconciliations & variance analysis
- Produce management reporting and financial insights
- Review and set inventory standard costs
- Strengthen credit control processes and Opex controls
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
- Support internal and external audits
- Drive process optimisation, automation & finance digitalisation initiatives
- Support budgeting and forecasting
Requirements
- ACCA/CIMA qualified or part-qualified with 5+ years' experience
- Strong SAP ERP experience (ESSENTIAL) - FICO advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with BI tools (eg SAP Analytics Cloud)
- Experience with automated Order-to-Pay processes desirable
- Process-driven, systems-oriented mindset
- Fluent English (Spanish desirable)
- Right to work in the UK
