Meraki Talent is working with a long-standing client on the position of Director or Partner for a reputable firm of Chartered Accountants.

Our client is based in the Northeast of England in the Northumberland region.

The business operates as expected of a mid-tier CA firm providing expert advice across multiple service lines such as Audit, Business Services, Advisory, Tax, etc.

Over recent years, the business has experienced tremendous growth across each discipline, with a particular focus on expanding their Business Services function. The Business Services department comprises over 30 staff, offering strategic advisory services and outsourced financial services.

As a Director or Partner within the Business Services function, you will lead a team ranging from trainee accountants to Managers.

The department manages finances for a large portfolio of clients in sectors such as Professional Services, Tech, Renewables, Energy, Construction, and Manufacturing.

Your responsibilities will include shaping the team at all levels, collaborating closely with the leadership group, and providing value-added services both internally and to clients.

The firm seeks a highly market-facing individual who understands the importance of networking and business development, and who can grow the business function while mentoring team members.

The role is suitable for experienced accounting professionals at Manager or Senior Manager grade aspiring to become Directors or already operating as a Director seeking a first Partner role.
