This position will initially be offered as a 1-year fixed-term contract, with the intention to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
Location: Home-based with travel across your region and occasional visits to Belgium and the wider Netherlands.

Job Purpose
As a Client Relationship Manager, you'll be responsible for developing new business and managing a portfolio of hospitality clients to help them grow with Avendra International.
You'll advise clients and prospects on supplier solutions, identify cost-saving opportunities, and demonstrate your value through strategic procurement insights. Acting as the key link between clients and suppliers, you'll work independently from home, regularly visiting clients in the western Netherlands and attending meetings in Belgium and the Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Prospection - Identify and engage new clients by researching market opportunities, building relationships, and presenting tailored procurement solutions.
- Relationship Management - Maintain and grow strong partnerships with existing hospitality clients.
- Opportunity Identification - Analyse client needs and advise on cost-saving and efficient procurement strategies.
- Growth Realisation - Understand client culture and challenges to uncover opportunities for purchasing growth.
- Data Analysis & Reporting - Monitor and translate purchasing data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Market Insights - Stay ahead of industry trends to enhance procurement strategies.

- Strong organisational and time management abilities

- Commercial and analytical mindset with a focus on cost efficiency
- Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
- Calm and composed under pressure
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in account management, sales, or procurement (hospitality industry preferred)
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (French or German is a plus)
- Experience in a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) is a strong advantage
