Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and solution-oriented Account Manager. The Account Manager's responsibilities include maintaining a thorough knowledge of our products and services, developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts, managing and strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations.

What You'll Do

Account Management

  • Develop a firm understanding of the client's industry, marketing strategy and goals
  • Work with the Account Director and subject matter experts to identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships.
  • Manage internal aspects of a project implementation including preparation of client engagement briefings and proposals, tracking client data, QA validation, and reporting of internal and external client activities and communications
  • Ensure project requirements are documented.
  • Develop internal relationships with all delivery teams to ensure collaboration that delivers on set client objectives and goals
  • Monitor established program KPIs and ensures that the program performance meets the agreed upon client KPIs.

Client Relationship Management and Communication

  • Develop productive business relationships and partnerships with Clients in order to manage day to day program queries and deliverables.
  • Deliver effective and efficient documentation, communication and dissemination of information regarding client activities and client administrative procedures.
  • Work with clients to complete a specific project brief and coordinate client approvals.

Budget and Financials

  • Assist Account Director in the development of annual account plans that meet revenue growth and profit margin targets for assigned clients.

Knowledge and Industry Relations

  • Demonstrates in depth knowledge of DAC's product offerings, such as media, paid search, analytics, search engine optimization (SEO) through our TotalSERP platform, local SEO through our TransparanSEE technology, content strategy and creative.
  • Be an expert on the client's program across all scoped channels and their wider marketing plan.
  • DAC will provide support through industry and platform training and development

What You Bring

  • A creative, capable, agency-experienced professional who takes a wide range of account-level responsibilities in their stride, including defining short-term goals and long-term strategy, KPI monitoring and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with DAC's core services
  • Somebody who will develop productive business relationships and alliances with clients in order to manage day-to-day program-related inquiries and deliverables
  • 3 years account management experience
  • Good understanding of Google Analytics and other digital ad and analytics platforms
  • A tenacious, positive person, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can easily manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to see all of the pieces and how each piece fits together
  • Ability to report data and to relate results to client objectives
  • Excellent presentation skills shown in the creation and delivery of material, in person and virtually
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop positive relationships with members of various internal teams as well as clients and prospects
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Competency with MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • University degree or equivalent marketing qualification
