Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are currently looking for a Sales Representative to join our team. The Sales Representative is responsible for new customer development and providing counsel visits to stores ensuring that we maintain and grow sales and profits while achieving weekly sales and revenue objectives. Actively contribute to a positive and productive working environment.
Here's where you'll be focusing:- Provide regular sales visits to stores
- Responsible for increasing sales and profitability as per budget
- Provide sales counseling to customers and national accounts
- Responsible to present service, sales programs and special products to customers
- Take sales orders and pickup cheques as required
- Provide exceptional customer service to meet customer needs and ensuring continued customer loyalty
- Present new potential customers an overall sales program including all services and pricing
- Provide overall merchandising and operations assistance for store setup
- Inform management on competitive activity and market changes
- Responsible to keep accounts receivables within our credit terms
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per Company requirements
- Other duties as required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven track record in sales and customer service
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model
- Experience in the retail or wholesale industry is an asset
