Role: Account Manager
Type: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum base salary, plus full travel expenses
Location: Bath - hybrid working, with 2 days per week in the office
iO Associates are working with an established and values-led organisation in the healthtech space that is looking to appoint an Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of existing customers.
This is a really exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, understanding customer challenges, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell in a meaningful way. The role would suit someone who is commercially minded, highly organised, and motivated by delivering a great customer experience.
There is also clear progression available, with the opportunity to develop into a more strategic account management role over time, with greater exposure to procurement-level conversations and longer-term account planning.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Building long-term, strategic relationships with key stakeholders
- Leading regular service reviews and maintaining strong account engagement
- Identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across the account base
- Understanding customer challenges and aligning solutions to their needs
- Monitoring account health and proactively addressing risks or issues
- Acting as a trusted advisor and internal advocate for customers
- Working closely with product, support and internal teams to deliver the best customer outcomes
- Supporting contract management, renewals and overall account growth
Skills:
- Proven experience in an Account Management role is essential
- NHS, healthcare or wider healthtech experience is strongly preferred
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
- Commercial awareness and experience managing accounts against targets
- Ability to spot growth opportunities while maintaining a high level of service
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively across internal teams
- No specific product background required
