Overview

Gartner for Marketing Leaders, Large Enterprise Account Executive

Gartner for Marketing Leaders is hiring for a growth focused Account Executive to join their high performing team.

In 2025 CMOs must lead marketing through disruption's next wave by harnessing those disruptive forces impacting the enterprise and the marketing function. Harnessing disruptive forces to their full potential requires CMOs to take three key actions in 2025: identify AI enabled marketing opportunities, recast marketing's value, and orchestrate profitable growth across functions by addressing cross functional collaboration challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Engage C Level stakeholders within Large Enterprise organizations as an individual contributor with a personal target, focusing on retention and upsell. Sales are based on renewals and new business.
  • Partner with Gartner clients and internal subject matter experts to address priorities and become a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities for contract expansion and service/product introductions.
  • Manage a quota of approximately $1.2M USD in contract value across 10-15 large enterprise accounts.
  • Collaborate with C Level executives to develop and implement enterprise wide strategies; support customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
What you'll need
  • 5-10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in Technology, SaaS, services, or a consultative environment.
  • Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets in a business development / new business context.
  • Experience selling to and influencing C level executives.
  • Proven ability to manage and forecast a complex sales process with precision.
  • Willingness to travel across the EMEA region.
Progression
  • All individual contributors have monthly reviews and planning sessions to discuss progression goals and benchmarks.
  • Typical internal promotions include Senior Account Executive, Team Lead, and Sales Manager; internal hires are common for leadership roles.
