Job Description
The purpose of this role is to proactively generate income in the New Business Team, Personal Lines, specifically through our digital sales platform.
Personal Lines is going through an exciting Digital Transformation, and the Account Executives, New Business Team will be responsible for managing calls and queries from customers who use our digital platform to support and to close out sales across a suite of products. The Account Executive will use sales strategies to up-sell and cross-sell the Arachas product suite to new customers and with the team manager via cross selling opportunities across the Arachas group. This role is a hybrid role. 3 days office-based.
Role Accountabilities Responsibilities Sales and Activity Management- Identify target groups and secure an opportunity to provide new business income
- Work with the team manager on call flows and volumes of calls and queries from the site to support and close out sales across a suite of products.
- Coach customers through the sales process, providing benefits and covers
- Outbound to potential customers who opt not to complete sale on line to advise and close out sale on phone.
- Work on specific campaigns with the team manager on driving additional sales through our digital journey
- Build effective working relationships with all customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and meeting commitments
- Deal with any issues that customers may have with queries, quotes etc.
- Portray a professional image to meet or exceed customer service standards
- Take personal responsibility for delivering the highest level of accuracy and quality in your work
- Deal with requests and enquiries from customers, staff and management in a professional and timely manner
- Working as part of a team environment to ensure all customer needs are met
- Working together to ensure the team is on track to meet monthly and yearly targets
- Work with the team manager and compliance teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards
- Strong sales background
- At least 2 years sales and relay experience in a brokerage
- Compliant with the Central Bank Minimum Competency Requirements- APA (Personal General Insurance) as a minimum requirement, with a willingness to progress to further educational qualifications as required.
- An enthusiastic and flexible approach
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Strong IT skills. Relay/Applied knowledge is an advantage
- Sales-driven, enjoys fast-paced sales activity.
- Possess a can-do attitude and be open to rapid and evolving changes as our digital journey progresses.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to unforeseen events
- A good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource management

- Works with team manager in analysing dashboard activity to improve performance individually and as part of a team structure. Working on their own initiative, but happy to work as a key member of a busy team to exceed challenging sales targets.
- Demonstrate strong Product & Technical Knowledge with a willingness to become a product expert on behalf of the team.
