Job Description

We are currently working on a retained search for a customer of ours who is a global leader in cross-border payments and money transfers. They are seeking a Field Sales Account Executive to join their successful and growing team.

This is a remote role; however, travel will be expected 3-4 times per week. They are offering a market-leading salary and an uncapped commission plan.

Preferred locations: Bremen, Munich, and Nuremberg.

Role overview

The Account Executive will be responsible for expanding the agent network across the assigned region by identifying prospects and signing up new agents in line with the business strategy. Responsibilities include presenting the product to potential agents and managing the entire sales process, from prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face meetings, to conducting presentations and user demonstrations.

What you'll do:
  • Prospect potential agents through written communication, phone calls, and in person to effectively outline the product and service benefits of becoming an agent.
  • Spend approximately 80% of your time on the road, meeting potential partners across your entire region.
  • Support the retail business by expanding the sub-agent network in the assigned regions.
  • Maintain a database of all prospect agents, contact details, and sales activity status.
  • Review, analyze, and follow up on all sales activity reports as appropriate.
  • Ensure all agent contracts and agreement documentation meet standards and that copies are retained.
  • Support management in achieving business plans and targets related to network, volumes, and profitability.
Requirements:
  • Full clean driving license
  • Experience in building and maintaining customer/client relationships and identifying opportunities to improve business success for both parties.
  • Prior experience in presenting product/service opportunities to clients/customers.
  • First-class interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining credible relationships with agents both in person and over the phone.
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to present to prospective agents professionally.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize workload and liaise with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Experience in Money Transfer and/or Payments is beneficial.
  • Language skills: German (Native or Fluent), English (Fluent or Professional). Additional languages of interest include Turkish, and languages across the Balkan region (Albanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Montenegrin, Serbian).
