Account Director - Auto

Job Overview

We are Strata! Our Account Directors link our clients and the rest of the business, manage client relationships, find growth opportunities, and ensure the success of client events. Commercial responsibilities include shaping client success, offering expertise, and being trusted advisers. This role sits within our dedicated automotive team, working with some of the world's largest automotive companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long lasting client relationships and leverage them to identify new revenue streams and maximize profitability.
• Take client briefs for internal and external communications activities, gaining a deep understanding of objectives.
• Create proposals and presentations in response to briefs.
• Oversee a wide range of deliverables, working with in house teams to ensure quality standards and timelines are met efficiently and profitably.
• Ensure financial targets - revenue and margin - are achieved on every piece of work and provide accurate, timely forecasting to the Client Services Director.
• Act as the client escalation point when required.

Experience Required

• Relevant marketing communications or events agency experience supporting automotive clients.
• Organized and diligent, leading from the front and setting a good example.
• Expert at juggling multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship development skills.
• Calm under pressure with a positive attitude at all times.
• Comfortable working across stakeholders from junior to C suite.
• Experience in FMCG and global campaigns.
• Strong commercial background, managing forecasting, client budget control, and time utilisation across account team.
• Previous experience within the automotive sector.
