About The Role & Who We're Scouting

We're on the lookout for a passionate and skilled Academy Sports Scientist (U21) to join our squad at Leicester City Football Club. As a Academy Sports Scientist (U21), you'll play a key role in defining and leading a leading edge sports science provision based on a youth physical development model (YPDM) for U21s PDP academy players to ensure LCFC academy players are first team ready.

Responsibilities

• Leading the planning, delivery, and review of individualised athletic development to U21s players tailored towards ensuring players are first team ready.
• Demonstrating improvements in athletic development in the U21s players across a season.
• Bringing a desire to strive for excellence, to innovate and inspire others.
• Contributing to the Club's success by making a difference and influencing high performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience working within a sports team.
• BASES Accreditation and UKSCA Accreditation.
• Ability to work as part of a multi disciplinary team of support, co operating with others, considering the needs of others and helping others to achieve objectives.
• MSc in Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning.
• Thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
