Overview

Kickstart your career at Leicester City Football Club as Academy Sports Scientist (U21). Contract Type: Permanent.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Academy Sports Scientist (U21) to join our squad and lead a cutting-edge sports science provision based on a youth physical development model (YPDM) for U21s PDP academy players, helping LCFC academy players become first team ready.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, delivery, and review of individualized athletic development for U21 players, tailored toward ensuring first team readiness.
  • Demonstrate improvements in athletic development among U21 players across a season.
  • Bring a drive for excellence, a spirit of innovation, and the ability to inspire others within a multi-disciplinary team.
Qualifications and Experience
  • BASES Accreditation and UKSCA Accreditation.
  • MSc in Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning (essential).
  • Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, fast-paced environment and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
