Job Description
The Opportunity

By integrating Bridewell's Cyber Security Consulting with focused training in Data Security and Data Protection, the Bridewell Academy equips candidates with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in today's cyber security landscape. This holistic approach not only enhances academic offerings but also prepares candidates for successful careers in this critical field.

In the first three months of the Bridewell Academy, you will undergo comprehensive onboarding, where you will have the opportunity to meet your manager and assigned buddy, who will guide you through the initial stages of your journey. During this period, you will gain exposure to our Security and Compliance team, allowing you to familiarise yourself and gain a better understanding of Cyber Security and Data Privacy. Additionally, you will complete the SC-401 course (Information Security Administrator Associate) and become acquainted with our learning management systems, setting a solid foundation for your professional development.

As you progress into the three to six-month mark, you will join our Data Privacy team and begin working on client-facing projects, where you'll apply your skills in real-world scenarios. This hands on experience will be invaluable as you collaborate with team members and contribute to client deliverables. In addition, you will undertake our Core Consulting Training Course, which helps support you in developing soft skills essential for all consultants, including presenting to clients, managing conflicts, delivering value, and building lasting relationships.

Between six to eighteen months, you will continue working on client-facing projects both independently and as a team, enhancing your practical experience in the field. During this time, you will focus on completing specialist Microsoft and ISC2 certifications, including the SC-200 (Security Operations Analyst Associate) and ISC2 SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner). Achieving these qualifications will further prepare you for your future role, culminating in your pathway to becoming academy certified. This structured progression ensures that you are well equipped with the knowledge and experience needed to thrive in the Data Security and Privacy landscape.

  • Minimum grade of 4/C in GCSE English Language and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Preferred: A degree in Cyber Security, an equivalent qualification (such as Level 3 Apprenticeship) or completion of a Cyber Security focused training course or bootcamp

No work experience is needed this is an entry level position; we are looking for someone that will show potential for these roles through their transferable skills. Confidence, relationship building, and a self starter mentality are all welcome-alongside a huge eagerness to learn!
