Academic Copy Editor (Full-Time) - Deanta

Deanta is a publishing solutions provider based in Clontarf, Dublin. We are currently looking for academic copy editors to join our dynamic team, which works on academic books for international publishers. Our copy editors work on academic books across STEM and HSS fields to ensure spelling and grammar is correct, style is consistent (and conforms to the publisher's house style where needed) and the meaning is clear.

We invite applications from candidates interested in working full-time (hybrid) in our Dublin office. While we will provide training, candidates should have some experience working with academic texts and copy editing or proofreading. The full-time role is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a keen interest in publishing to learn about international academic publishing and grow with our team. The right candidate will have a can-do attitude, good fundamental copy editing skills, knowledge of academic referencing, excellent writing and communication skills and an eye for detail. Candidates should be native English speakers and will be enthusiastic to learn new skills and have an interest in publishing and new technology.
