ABAP Developer

*ABAP Developer- 6 Month contract role - Remote (EU)*

On behalf of one of our partners, RED now has a new contract opportunity for an ABAP Developer to join one of our key partners for a project. The initial contract will be for 6 months with likely extension.

This is a Full time contract, and is due start ASAP/2 weeks and will be Remote.

Role responsibility:

You will develop, enhance and support SAP S/4HANA solutions using ABAP and related technologies. You will work closely with functional teams and business stakeholders to design technical solutions, develop custom enhancements, integrations and APIs, and optimise system performance. You will build and maintain CDS Views, OData services and Fiori applications, while troubleshooting complex issues across the SAP landscape. You will support upgrades, migrations and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring developments follow SAP best practices, Clean Core principles and modern S/4HANA development standards.

Overall skills:

• Strong technical ABAP background
• S/4HANA/Clean Core experience
• Modern ABAP technologies such as RAP, CDS, OData, Fiori
• Ideally experience working on large-scale/global projects and with major international clients
• Strong project stability - longer term projects are preferred over multiple short assignments
