Rate: £38.46 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week (Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite)

Our client is seeking a highly strategic, quantitative, process- and detail-oriented professional to join the EMEA Sales Strategy Planning & Operations team as a 6-month parental leave cover. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global team and drive and execute go-to-market strategy in partnership with Sales leaders within the client's business. The mission of the Sales Strategy Planning & Operations group is to drive efficient revenue growth and product adoption by aligning the business to monetization priorities and transforming the business into a data-driven organization. This role will support multiple in-market sales teams, acting as a member of market operations leadership and working closely with Business / Country Directors on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our client, intellectually curious and a fast learner, experienced at working independently under ambiguity, while keeping focused on high-impact projects. You should be a proven collaborator, have demonstrated stakeholder and change management experience, and possess advanced analytical skills (advanced Excel + SQL skills mandatory) and advanced business acumen.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Data driven business insights: Lead business reviews; drive impactful analyses on major revenue and product trends, including revenue performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, productivity and sales effectiveness which inform executives and management of revenue upside opportunity and risks as well as strategic priorities progress to take proactive actions on. Develop data analytics and insights through tools including Tableau, SQL and advanced Excel. Establish operating cadence/rhythm of business: execute standard cadence of operations (e.g., goal-setting, revenue review, key accounts reviews) and drive operational rigour in the sales organization through identification and execution of opportunity areas that create efficiency, remove obstacles, or improve processes.
  • Planning and go-to-market design: Design and execute on an annual planning process in partnership with cross-functional partners; drive strategy and resource budgeting plans (e.g., headcount) across teams. Collaborate on go-to-market design decisions including portfolio management, segmentation and organizational design.
  • Strategic projects and initiatives: Identify and drive critical projects and initiatives to support revenue growth. Translate global initiatives to the regional level and help drive corporate alignment. Develop regional projects with potential to scale globally.
  • Stakeholder Management and Strategic Partnership: Act as an objective, trusted partner to the sales organization. Develop effective collaborative relationships across SSP&O teams to drive analytical and/or planning initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Approximately 6+ years' relevant experience leading strategy and operations projects in a consulting environment, corporate strategy/operations team, quantitative field (e.g. investment banking, PE/VC) or similar tech company
  • Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using SQL for running data analysis and building quantitative models
  • Problem-solving and analysis skills, with proven experience solving complex and wide-ranging business problems (commercial, operational, organizational)
  • Demonstrable experience leading and influencing stakeholders of all levels of seniority, with proven success in communicating/presenting effectively
  • BA/BS degree in a numerate or business-related subject (Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, etc.) OR equivalent relevant practical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in an analytical field
  • Demonstrable Excel, SQL, and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience working in or with the digital media, internet, or technology industry
  • Commitment to turning analysis into actionable business acumen that sales can work with
  • Stakeholder collaboration and management experience
