Working as part of the Trust wide IT Services team, the IT Services Technician works across their cluster of schools providing on-site technical support across our wide range of school settings, as well as remote support across the Trust as a whole.
Responsibilities- Respond to and complete tasks as allocated via the IT helpdesk
- Ensure the effective maintenance and management of IT hardware, software and processes
- Respond to IT helpdesk tickets in an appropriate and efficient manner, following trust best practice guidance.
- Ensure IT asset management is kept up to date with in-life changes.
- Support the development of knowledge base articles and runbooks when new procedures are identified.
- Provide help and guidance to staff on day-to-day use of IT hardware and software
The successful candidate will be experienced in IT support within the Education, corporate or non-profit sector, with a focus on customer service and satisfaction through problem resolution. They will also:
Have experience working within the Microsoft 365.
Have good written and verbal communication skills.
Be flexible and willing to learn.
Have a UK driving licence.
