CONTRACT DURATION: Permanent
Salary Scale £30,353 - £33,016 per annumApplications are invited from well motivated, enthusiastic and hard working individuals. Successful applicants will contribute in providing comprehensive support to the clinical laboratory service, working effectively as a team member. Candidates should be adaptable, have good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude. Good practical experience and knowledge of Molecular techniques are desirable.
Candidates should be educated to SCQF level 8 e.g. HND; or SVQ4; or IBMS Certificate of Achievement Part 2; Personal Development Awards
The post is based in the Molecular Microbiology/Virology department in the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary. Participation in the full 24/7 shift working system (including weekends) will be expected.
