Provide specialist imaging within one of the following clinical areas, including MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Cardio-Vascular, Neuro-Angiography and satellite imaging departments. To justify and perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic service in order to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology.
Responsibilities- Provide specialist imaging within MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Cardio-Vascular, Neuro-Angiography and satellite imaging departments.
- Justify and perform radiographic examinations, providing direct care and a high quality diagnostic service to assist in the management of patients within the directorate of Radiology.
- Supervise and act as mentor to junior radiographers ensuring continuity of service.
- PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a member for the required regulatory group (child and/or adult), an application to Disclosure Scotland will be required before starting in post.
- From 1 April 2025, changes to criminal records checks may apply. If the post is assessed as a regulated role, appointment will be subject to joining the PVG Scheme. Details will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team if changes occur.
