Part-time HR Business Partner - Permanent - Belfast
MCS Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with an award winning organisation as they look to add a part time HR Business Partner to their team, in this newly created position.
The role:You will work closely with leadership and managers, you'll take ownership of a broad HR remit, ensuring smooth day to day operations while supporting longer term people initiatives.
The main responsibilities:- Act as a trusted partner to managers, providing practical, day to day HR support and advice.
- Manage employee relations cases end to end (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance).
- Support the full employee lifecycle - onboarding, probation, development, and offboarding.
- Maintain HR systems, ensuring accurate data and reporting.
- Review, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.
- Coach managers on people management, ensuring consistent and fair practices.
- Lead and support operational HR projects (e.g. process improvements, engagement initiatives).
- Contribute to people strategy, workforce planning, and organisational development.
- Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or HR Officer position.
- Comfortable operating in a hands on, operational environment.
- Strong employee relations experience with confidence managing cases independently.
- Experience across the full employee lifecycle.
- CIPD qualified.
