Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with at least 6 months of SEN experience? Protocol Education is currently recruiting for 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in Bristol.
You'll provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, develop confidence and make progress in a safe and supportive environment.
The Role- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with SEN/SEND.
- Support pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD and communication difficulties.
- Assist with classroom learning, activities and individual learning plans.
- Support positive behaviour, emotional regulation and social development.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff.
- Encourage independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
- Minimum 6 months' recent SEN/SEND experience in the UK.
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA or similar.
- Experience providing 1:1 support is highly desirable.
- Calm, patient and compassionate approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, professional and committed to supporting pupils.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
